"The Upward Call"
Philippians 3:12-14, NLT
Rev. John Donaldson
“More of You, more of You, I′ve had all but what I need, just more of You.”
-Bill & Gloria Gaither
The Apostle Paul had achieved much. He had been instrumental in spreading the gospel across what is modern day Turkey and across into Europe in the coastal cities of Greece. Churches had been established. Paul had mentored the next generation of leaders – Titus, Timothy, Silas, Luke, etc. Yet, despite all this Paul had a hunger for more. He hungered for more of the presence of God in his life. How does Paul seek more? What can we learn from his upward call? Join us this week as we continue to explore Paul’s letter to the Philippians, focusing this week on Philippians 3:12-14.
Blessings,
Pastor John
