"Your Love Life in Question?"
Matthew 22:37-40, 1st Corinthians 13
Reverend Dr. Wallace Wheeles
Thank you all for joining us as we celebrate Homecoming 2024, and welcome back to the Rev. Dr. Wallace and Mrs. Peggy Wheeles! Wallace served EFMC from 1996 to 2004, making him our 88th pastor! Wallace is remembered fondly, and it was in his tenure here that the Contemporary Service which used to meet in the Fellowship Hall was founded. Wallace is preaching on Matthew 22:37-40 and 1st Corinthians 13, on the topic, “Your Love Life in Question?” Following the Worship Service, please join us in the Fellowship Hall for BBQ, coleslaw and lots more!
Blessings,
Pastor John

Evening Chapel Service
"Fear, Hallowe'en, and Hope" considers some of the ancient and modern traditions around this time of the year, remembering the Key Scripture for the service found in Deuteronomy 18:10-14. Occult activities can lead to dangerous and sinful pursuits. Christians do not celebrate fear; we celebrate the One who freed us from fear. Death has no power in the face of joyful faith.

Sunday School
With our special Homecoming Service and Dinner, the Sunday School Classes will not be meeting this Sunday. BUT, just a reminder, classes for all ages will be meeting again next week! Attending Sunday School is a great way to get to know other Christians and to grow deeper in our faith.
