A Taste of Handel’s Messiah

In the 11 a.m. Worship Service this Sunday, Dec. 15, we will be blessed with a taste of Handel's Messiah at EFMC!  Messiah is one of the best-known choral works in Western music. The first song of the oratorio is “Comfort Ye”, with lyrics drawn from Isaiah 40. The prophet was writing of the yearning of the people for the coming Messiah. Singing “Comfort Ye” will be Henry Heydinger. Henry has a BA in Voice Performance and an MA in Choral Conducting. EFMC is at 132 East Church Street; all are welcome to attend!
