Hey church Family,
Our lives are a constant stream of decisions and judgments we make based on what is true. Think about that. We don’t ever make a decision, large or small, where we don’t evaluate our situation and the facts that are relevant. So, we better be good at knowing the truth, knowing what we can count on with certainty, so that the results are what we want and need. The bible, and particularly Jesus, addresses that issue in a big way. I am looking forward to sharing some foundational truths about our lives and faith with you on Sunday. Come and worship, join your church family and let’s be excited to grow our faith together while honoring our Heavenly Father as the body of Christ. Bring a friend or neighbor, you might just change their life!

Stuff the Bus
The Salvation Army of Elberton will be at our local Walmart on July 14 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. This is an opportunity to contribute school supplies for the upcoming school year. Suggested items are 3-prong folders, pink erasers, kids' scissors, glue sticks, disinfecting wipes, notebooks, 24-pack crayons, writing supplies, pencil boxes, hand sanitizer, rulers, Kleenex tissues, pencil pouch, and backpacks.
Ad Council Meeting
Want to hear about what's happening in the life of the church? Administrative Council meetings are a great way to find out. All committee and ministry leaders will provide a report sharing what they have done and the projects completed since the last meeting. Everyone is invited to attend; only committee members can vote on items.
EC Food Distribution
The July distribution will be this Saturday, July 18. Please consider volunteering for this ministry, as it takes many people to prepare for and help distribute boxes. The distribution is located at Concord UMC, 2515 Harmony Rd, Elberton, GA 30635.
