"Reasons to Believe"
1 Peter 3:15, NIV
The first Methodist Chapel in London was a renovated iron foundry; it was known as the Foundry Meeting House. The first service in the Foundry was on Easter Sunday, 1739, and Charles Wesley wrote a special hymn for the event. It became the most popular Methodist Easter hymn, here’s the first verse, to sing it right, put a smile on your face!
Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
Earth and heaven in chorus say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!

Join us Sunday as we joyfully celebrate the resurrection and Jesus’ victory over death.
Blessings,
Pastor John
